Do I have to pay in advance?

For trips booked more than 10 days in advance, an immediate payment of €200 is required at the time of booking. The remaining amount, including the deposit, must be paid 10 days before the trip. We'll send you a reminder email with instructions to make the remaining payment at that time.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required. The amount varies depending on the length of stay and is refunded after check-out.

Are there any additional costs or taxes?

Additional costs include cleaning costs, administrative costs and optional extras. These are clearly stated during the booking process.

Is there a minimum stay required?

Most homes have a minimum stay of 7 nights. We also offer apartments from 1 night.

How do I check in?

Check-in instructions will be provided before your arrival date. Our property manager will be waiting to welcome you, hand over the keys and provide you with information about your stay.

What type of properties do you accept?

We have strict quality standards to offer guests an excellent stay. Your home must meet the following criteria:


• Located in Paramaribo or the immediate vicinity
• Fully furnished with modern decor.
• Equipped with air conditioning in bedrooms and living room.
• In excellent condition and well maintained.
• Equipped with a full kitchen with all necessary equipment.
• Wifi and television (preferably Smart TV) available.
• Safety measures such as railings or alarm systems.
• Clean and professionally maintained.
• Secure parking on or near the site.
• Ready for both short and long term rentals

How do you find guests for my home?

We promote your property via our website, social media, and platforms such as Airbnb where we check the status of Superhost have reached. Our experienced and specialized marketing team knows exactly how to reach the right target group, with a strong focus on the Dutch market. In addition, we have an extensive network of companies and organizations that are regularly looking for high-quality accommodations. Thanks to our expertise and focused approach, we ensure that your home is optimally visible and booked as much as possible.

How do you determine the rental price?

We analyse the market, look at comparable properties and use seasonal data to determine a competitive rental price. Our goal is to find the best balance between occupancy rate and yield.

What happens if there is damage to my home?

We have clear conditions for guests and inspect the property both before and after each stay. For long stays, you and the tenant sign an extensive rental contract and we carefully pre-screen tenants. We keep a deposit of €300 to cover any damage. While we do everything we can to prevent damage, we are not responsible for any damage caused by guests. We advise homeowners to take out the right insurance before renting out, so that your home is always optimally protected.

I live abroad. Do you also manage my home outside rental periods?

Yes, if that's what you want! We manage multiple homes owned by owners who live in the Netherlands or elsewhere. So this is not a problem. At a fixed rate, we ensure that your home is well maintained. Check out our parcels for more information and contact us directly contact with us.

How do I know if a vehicle is available?

Vehicles are only guaranteed to be available after we confirm this via email. You will receive a message about this after your reservation.

Where can I find the terms and conditions of the rental?

When you pick up your car, you will receive the rental conditions from the rental company. We recommend that you read them carefully, as they may vary from provider to provider.

What about the insurance?

The insurance conditions vary by car. We recommend that you review them carefully when booking. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure that they have adequate insurance coverage.

What happens in the event of damage or accidents?

We are not liable for accidents, damage or problems resulting from the use of the rental vehicles. Any disputes must be resolved directly with the rental company. If you wish, we will remain involved to support you where possible.

Can I cancel a car?

Cancellation is possible and free of charge up to two weeks before the rental date. In case of subsequent cancellations, the deposit of €150 will be retained. Changing the booking date is also possible free of charge up to 14 days before the rental period, subject to availability. Changes made within 14 days are considered a cancellation and new booking. In the rare event that we need to cancel your reservation, you will receive the full deposit back and we will try to help you with an alternative vehicle.

Can I rent a car for a long term?

Yes, we also offer long-term rental options. Contact us for rates and terms.

How do you select tours, getaways and experiences?

We work with carefully selected partners and take the time to get to know them well to determine if they fit our values. Sustainability, respect for nature, in-depth local knowledge and the quality of the experience itself are key here. We tested most of the tours and getaways ourselves—we only offer what we really recommend doing in Suriname!

Are there discounts for groups or families?

Yes, with our jungle tours, we certainly offer group discounts, because the more people join, the lower the cost per person. Sometimes this also applies to experiences outside the city, due to the extra costs for petrol. Check out the tours for the specific quote.

Can I change or extend my tour?

Yes, we offer customized tours that can be adapted to your needs. Contact us for more information.

Can I cancel a tour?

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 7 days before departure. Please note that cancellation policies may vary by tour. Therefore, please carefully review the specific terms and conditions when booking.

Do I have to pay in advance?

Yes, after confirming your reservation, we will send you a payment link to pre-pay the full amount of the tour. Are you already in Suriname? Then you can also pay in cash at the start of the tour. You can pay with us in USD, EURO and SRD. We use the daily rate for an accurate conversion of the currency
